Bubbles has been diving Gozo since 20xx. Family-run, on the Marsalforn harbour front, built around small groups and properly organised days.
From PADI to SSI
For years we were a Platinum PADI Career Development Centre, one of only ten in the world. In 2024 we moved to SSI as the industry shifted that way, becoming a SSI Career Centre and Extended Range Instructor Training Centre.
We're now the exclusive SSI Career Centre in Gozo and Malta, and one of twelve worldwide.
What that means for you
A Career Centre is the top tier of SSI training facility, held to a standard most centres aren't required to meet. Lee is one of only eleven Platinum SSI Instructor Trainers in the world, and we have an Assistant Instructor Trainer on staff, covering recreational professional training and Extended Range Instructor training.
It also means we train our own. Every instructor on the team qualified here, taught by the people below. We don't hire in and hope. Bubbles certifies more SSI professionals than any other centre worldwide, and a good number of them end up working here.

Lee Rigby
Director of Diving, Owner
One of eleven Platinum SSI Instructor Trainers worldwide. If you're going pro, Lee is who you'll be training with.
Gemma Rigby
Owner, Bookings
Runs bookings and the operation from shore. A diver who now works from land, so she understands exactly what you're asking when you message us.
Callum Rigby
Dive Staff Management, Divemaster Training
Runs divemaster training, maintains every piece of kit on site, and fixes whatever breaks. If your equipment is ready and working, that's Callum.
Lucy Rigby
Bar Manager
Runs 200 Bar. Coffee before the dive, lunch between, and the brownie people write reviews about.

Bar Manager, Accounts
Splits her time between the bar and the books, and somehow has the best energy of anyone on site.
